Can it weld thin stainless steel (0.5-1.0mm) without burn-through?

Yes. Our laser control is precise. We use pulse modulation to control heat input perfectly, ensuring strong welds on sheets as thin as 0.5mm with zero burn-through and minimal distortion.

Does the weld seam require polishing?
Rarely. The laser weld bead is smooth, narrow, and uniform. For most home appliance parts (like range hoods or sinks), you can proceed directly to painting or coating, eliminating the polishing bottleneck.
What if the fit-up gap is not perfect?

Our Wobble Welding Technology solves this. The laser beam oscillates to bridge gaps up to 0.5mm-1.0mm (depending on wire feed), making it forgiving for parts with slight tolerance issues.

Can it weld dissimilar metals?

Yes. Laser welding is excellent for joining different materials, such as Copper to Stainless Steel or Carbon Steel to Stainless, which is common in electrical hardware and heat exchangers.

How much faster is it than TIG welding?

Typically 4x to 10x faster. A skilled TIG welder might do 10mm/s, while our handheld laser can easily achieve 40-120mm/s with deeper penetration and better aesthetics.

Can I integrate this with a robotic arm?
Yes. Our EC Series is automation-ready. We offer interface ports to connect with robotic arms (like Fanuc or ABB) for fully automated production lines, ensuring 100% consistency for large batches.
 
Is it easy to weld complex shapes (sinks, handles)?

Extremely easy. The handheld gun is lightweight and ergonomic. Operators can easily access tight corners, curved surfaces, and inside edges that are difficult for traditional bulky torches.

How consistent is the quality for large batches?

Highly consistent. Once parameters are set, the laser output is stable. Unlike manual TIG where quality depends heavily on the welder’s mood or fatigue, laser welding delivers the same result from the first part to the thousandth.

How much energy does it save?
Significant savings. Fiber lasers have an electro-optical conversion efficiency of >30%, compared to <5% for YAG or <10% for some traditional arcs. You can expect to cut your energy bill by half.
Is it safe for operators?

Yes, with proper protocols. Our machines come with dual-circuit safety interlocks. The laser only fires when the nozzle touches the metal AND the trigger is pressed. We also provide certified safety goggles for all operators.
